Bespoke Joinery
& Fine Fitted Furniture
Master craftsmanship in traditional and contemporary cabinetry, interiors and architectural woodwork across East Sussex since 1978.
A family run workshop specialising in beautifully made interior and exterior joinery.
We restore, replicate and reinstate complex architectural details to match the character of your period property; including sash windows, doors, mouldings, architraves and traditional cabinetry. We can recreate lost period features and incorporate modern improvements such as double-glazing and acoustic glass. We offer a full planning service for Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas in East Sussex.
We design and make bespoke fitted furniture for every room in the house; including bookcases, alcove storage, wardrobes, studies and libraries. Each piece is made to measure and by hand, with a variety of timber and hand-painted finishes, architectural ironmongery and fine detailing to choose from. We can also include integrated lighting, media units and other decorative features to suit your space.
Each kitchen is individually designed with the client and handmade in our workshop using traditional woodworking methods and antique hand tools. Clients are encouraged to visit during the manufacturing process. We don’t offer a glossy brochure or CGI renders, but hand-painted cabinetry, traditional dovetail drawers, integrated appliances and carefully considered storage, along with a full Design & Installation service, come as standard.
Traditional woodwork.
Family values.
As a family-run business, we are proud to promote and protect the heritage of traditional joinery for future generations. We have built our reputation on quality craftsmanship, attention to detail and traditional woodworking methods.
Our manufacturing process remains unchanged since we started in a small barn in the Sussex Downs; a 1950s pillar drill, an 1863 hand plane and an HB pencil still form part of our trusted toolkit.
We are a small team - each of us started as an apprentice, trained by founder Kim McGreevy. Hands-on training and expert knowledge passed down through the generations remain at the heart of how we work today.
